May 27, 1976 Page 2 A motion was presented by Jack Grady that the following new resolutions be adopted by the North Olmsted Civil Service Commission, amending the "Resolution For The Employees of the City of North Olmsted" passed on September 25, 1969, and establishing classification status for the Engineering; Building; Recreation Center; Waste -Water Department; and Service Department. NEW RESOLUTION FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED Whereas; this Commission, under Section 124.40, Ohio Revised Code, is charged with the duty of prescribing, amending and enforcing rules for the classification for positions in the Civil Service of the City of North Olmsted; and Whereas; this Commission has determined to extend the Civil Service classification to the officers positions and employments in the Civil Service of the City of North Olmsted; and Whereas; this Commission as directed in Section 124.11 under unclassified and classified and Section 124.30 under temporary and exceptional appoint- ments has examined the several categories and job requirements in the several positions in the City of North Olmsted in order to determine those employees who should be included in the competitive classified service, the unskilled labor class, the.unclassified service and the classified non-competitive service.
