y - i <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED M-1 nutes <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION August 25, 1983 <br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />Correspondence <br />Correspondence received and sent can be found on the attached sheet. <br />1) Ed Button, Attorney re: Ronald Zurawski <br />In response to the Official notice of appeal submitted by <br />Edmund Button, Attorney, on behalf of his client Ronald A. <br />Zurawski, the request for appeal was dismissed by the Commission. <br />It was determined that a response was not required since 1) the <br />position Mr. Zurawski formerly held was unclassifed; 2) Mr. <br />Zurawski has always been aware of the unclassified status; <br />3) in the event that the position was classified, the notice <br />exceeded the specified time allotment for the appeal process. <br />2) Marion Taylor, Chief of Police re: Colbert <br />Phil Huffman moved and Roger Alexander seconded that <br />Dispatcher Candidate Colbert be removed from the Certified <br />List under Civil Service Rules and Regulations, Rule VI, <br />Section 5: Subsection C. Motion Passed. <br />Financial Report <br />Financial report can be found on an attached sheet to the minutes. <br />In response to Mr.Petre's question concerning the assumption of a <br />portion of the Commission's operating expenses, -Mrs. Bahas informed <br />Mr. Petre that all expenses incurred by testing, photocopying, and <br />mailing) as well as stationery used for school business j.re paid by <br />the North Olmsted Board of Education. <br />
