'Minutes-Sept. 22, 15 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTF-D <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION <br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />MINUTES <br />September 22,1983 <br />The regular meeting of the North Olmsted Civil Service Commission <br />was called to order by Chairman Roger Alexander. Those present at <br />the meeting included the following: <br />Phillip _Huf.fman,Commissi oner <br />Pa. Itr cia Bahas, Secretary <br />Chief Marion Taylor, Chief of Police <br />Chief Van Kuren, Chief of K1. 0. Fire Dept. <br />Joseph Corrigan, Service Director <br />Edward iBoyle, Finance Director <br />Minutes <br />Minutes of the August 25, 1983 were approved as read. <br />Correspondence <br />Correspondence received and sent can be found attached to the min- <br />utes. Finance Report <br />Finance report for the month of September can be found attached to <br />the minutes. Mrs. Bahas asked approval for secretarial and adminis- <br />trative expenses connected with the Board of Education clerical tests <br />that have been given. Approval by the commissioners granted. <br />Old Business <br />Revision and Up -date: Discussion continued from that of the last <br />meeting on the subject of the classification of the city's clerical <br />staff and police dispatchers. Mr. Boyle stated that he and Mr. Gareau <br />Director of Purchasing, would submit clerical job descriptions in <br />an effort to more appropriately classify the positions. During the <br />
