With regard to that, <br />Mrs. Bahas was directed to request Supertendent Peinert and Assistant Super- <br />intendent Storch to attend a civil service meeting on December 15, 1983• <br />There being no further business, the O.A.P.S.E. representatives left. <br />Correspondence <br />Correspondence received and sent can be found attached to the minutes. <br />Finance <br />Reported to the Commission that additional clerical expenses for revisions <br />would be submitted before the end of the year. Finance Director Boyle asked <br />if the Commission expenses before the end of the year would be in excess of <br />the present amount in the Civil Service Fund. Mrs. Bahas did not anticipate <br />a problem this year, but felt the quarterly amount of the year's appropriation <br />would be inadequate for the anticipated expenses for conducting the promotional <br />test for fireman, the advertising expenses for publishing the announcement for <br />an entry level police examination and the printing/typing costs for the re- <br />vised rules and regulations. <br />Old Business <br />Revision and Update <br />Members of the Commission renewed the revised rules and regulations dealing with <br />the examination process. Mrs. Bahas asked them to attend weekly meetings through- <br />out December in order to complete the revision before the first of the year. The <br />
