CIVIL SERVICE MINUTES - 3/23/89 <br />Page 6 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Meeting continued with commission reviewing letter sent from Mr. Jim <br />Kline, North Olmsted Schools, clarifying the position of Elementary <br />Aides II. <br />Letter received from Mayor Petrigac discussed re the civil service <br />coverage of the receptionist/telephone operator at City Hall. As the <br />operator is paid out of the Mayor's budget she does not have civil <br />service coverage. However, her names still remains on the civil service <br />payroll sheets and the civil service secretary has received no word to <br />remove her name. This removal should come from the Mayor's office. <br />Civil Service Commissioners will address a communication to Mayor <br />Petrigac informing her of the review. <br />The Civil Service Rules & Regulations needed the signing of the <br />signature page by the commissioners and it would then be distributed and <br />mailed out. A cover letter requesting receipt of the Rules would be <br />attached and filed when returned to office. <br />Some of the candidates not showing up to take the -Firefighter test <br />requested the commission return their processing check. The .secretary <br />discussed these requests with the commissioners and was awaiting their <br />approval to return these funds. <br />No further business to come before the commission.- Meeting was <br />adjourned at 6:30 P.M <br />J, <br />Thomas Stroh,.Chairman Peg H' , Secretary <br />
