Civil Service Meeting - March 29, 1990
Page 2
NEW BUSINESS:
Chief Sefcek advised us that they may be hiring a Cleveland Heights
Policeman and will let us know.
The Commissioners requested a copy of the test report to be sent to
Chief Marsh.
A letter was sent to Chief Van Kurn on March 28, 1990 with a list of
seven (7) people who are still interested in the Radio Dispatcher job.
This list dissolves our eligibility list and another test will need to
be given.
As of this time, no date has been issued for the Radio Dispatcher vacancy.
.The last test was given on May 10, 1989.
A letter was.received regarding vision requirement for the Police Officer
Examination. We sent this person a letter and told him/her that the
Civil Service Commission does not set the vision requirements and to
check with the Police Department.
A letter was sent to Chief Sefcek, Chief Van Kurn, Ron Wilamosky and
Ernest Gundy inviting them to our next meeting to discuss whether
credit should be given for paramedic and police acadamy background
along with military and educational credit.
