He has four openings and seven candidates to choose from.
These are four full-time positions and this will dissolve the current list
and we will then need to give another test, The candidates. who are left
on the list will be put on the next list according to where they rank or
they can -re -take the test if they wish. :The Civil Service Secretary
will contact these individuals and let them know when another test will
be given. At this time, no test has been requested. These positions are
for just the Fire Department but could at times work for the Police Department.
The Police Agility Test results were received by phone on May 24 ,1990.
Thirty-five candidates were suppost to take the test but only thirty-three
candidates showed up. Three candidates failed the test (.two of which were
women) and one candidate did not finish the test and therefore resulted
in a zero score. The agility test is a pass/fail test.
There are a total of 29 candidates who have passed the written/agility tests
and who are ready to move on for 'i nves-ti gat'ion background, interviewing' etc.
Henry Robinson mentioned that the Police Department will NEED to have a women in
the department.
