CIVIL SERVICE MEETING <br />PAGE 2 <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />The commission reviewed the minutes from the School Board. <br />There is a hold on the clerical position opening at the police department <br />per Mayor Boyle. Robert Wendt feels that if another test is requested to <br />be given for the police department the commission may try and pick through the <br />candidates which took the Secretarial II examination because the test would <br />be the same and why run the same test twice and have the extra expense if <br />we do not have to. <br />A Fire Fighters test will be, given in the beginning of 1991 since at that <br />time the list will expire. The commission expects there to be some movement <br />in that department. <br />The commission decided that there will not be a meeting in the month of <br />August. We will need to meet when the test results from both the Secretary II <br />and Dispatcher tests are returned. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />As there was no .further matters to be brought before the commission, the <br />meeting adjourned at 5:20 pm.
