✓ y CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO CIVIL SERVICE MEETING: February 28, 1991 PRESENT: Chairman Robert Wendt, Commissioner Henry Robinson, Commissioner Alan Kovelan, Secretary Tracy Ice GUESTS: Safety Director Ernest Gundy, Fire Chief Osterhouse MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED AS READ. OLD BUSINESS The Civil Service Commission should be getting the night line installed in their office sometime in March. Chairman Robert Wendt would like to invite Pradco representative Mr. Kapusinski to come to our next Civil Service Meeting to discuss other testing procedures. Tracy Ice will contact him and invite him to our March 28, 1991 meeting. The following tests will be given in the months of March and April: Assistant Fire Chief Written - March 5, 1991 at Town Hall at 7:00 pm. Ohio Fire Chief's Association will be the testor. This test will be 50% of their grade we have 3 candidates taking this test. Assistant Fire Chief Oral - March 9, 1991 at City Hall's Conference Room on the Second Floor starting at 9:00 am. The Ohio Fire Chief's Organziation will be the testor. This test will be 50% of their grade. Entrance Level Firefighter/Paramedic Examination - March 12, 1991 at 7:00 pm at North Olmsted Community Cabin.. McCann & Associations will.supply'the test. There are 204 candidates who have signed up to take this test. There will also be a $20 per hour fee for the custodian that civil service will pay. Captain's Fire Promotional Written -Examination - April 8, 1991 at Town Hall at 7:00 pm. The Ohio Fire Chief's Organization will give the test. This portion of the test will be 750 of their grade. We have 4 candidates taking this test. Captain's Fire Promotional Oral Examination - April 13, 1991 at City Hall's Conference Room on the Second Floor. The Ohio Fire Chief's Organization will give the test. Examinations start at 9:00 am. This portion of the test will be 25% of their grade.
