We.now <br />have 29 candid-ates'''on. our eligibility list.." <br />Betty Mulhollan attended this'meirig. She�"was`a candidate who took <br />et <br />the secretarial test -,,,and moved ,down�'in tank -(because the typing test <br />was voided). She want'ed;to know what"happened with the voiding of the <br />test. _ <br />Jim Hines replied by saying that we are looking into how to test the <br />typing portion in the future. Maybe we will give the typing test to <br />only those who are interviewed instead of testing in a large group. <br />We are not sure on how well the typewriters worked at the last test. <br />Therefore, we voided the typing portion. In the future, we plan on <br />using a different testing company for the written test. We as a <br />Commission try to treat everyone fairly and equally. Mike Gareau <br />mentioned that the ruling of last month's meeting was good and that we <br />all learned something by this. <br />Jim Hines would like Tracy to call some of our local cities and see <br />what type of typing test they give for secretarial testing. Any key <br />boarding? <br />
