agreed this explanation may be brief, however the commission should have the right to request <br />more details. Chairman Cummings believed nepotism would play a role regardless of how many <br />names are certified but agreed this check and balance would limit this activity. Based on chapter <br />124.27 of the O.RC., the commission felt there was good reason to change this rule. S. Benjamin <br />motioned to raise the number of names certified from three to five. E. Cummings amended the <br />motion to read that some type of check and balance be completed any time the top candidate is not <br />chosen. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. <br />The commission finished reviewing through page 11 of the Administration's. Suggestions and will <br />continue with page 12 at the next regular meeting scheduled for April 21, 1997 at 7:00 P.M. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: No items. <br />X.
