E. Cummings motioned to use the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police to administer the <br />Lieutenants examination. The motion was seconded by J. Thomay and unanimously <br />approved. <br />E. Cummings motioned to have Police Chief Geis be the lead assessor. The motion was <br />seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. <br />E. Cummings motioned to have the in basket, structural written and the oral assessment test <br />used for the exam. The motion was seconded by J. Thomay and unanimously approved. <br />The clerk questioned the Commissioners if she would be allowed to set a date for the test <br />without waiting for the next meeting to have it approved. Mr. Cummings questioned if the <br />Commissioners would need to be present for the test or would the OACP take care of <br />everything on their own. The clerk indicated that the Commissioners would not need to be <br />present at the tests. <br />E. Cummings motioned to allow the clerk to set a date with the OACP Company and proceed <br />with the test. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. <br />The clerk reviewed that at the last Directors meeting the Mayor indicated that he wanted a <br />5year-projected budget from each department by December 15, 1999. She indicated each of <br />the tests that would need to be given over the next 5 years. The clerk indicated that she <br />would have the projected 5 -year budget for the next meeting, but reminded the <br />Commissioners that she would be turning the budget in to the Mayor before they would have <br />a chance to review the budget. Mr. Cummings commented that the eligible list would need to <br />be worked so that they are always current. <br />X ADJOURNMENT: <br />E. Cummings motioned to adjourn the meeting.
