and Assistant Fire Chief, Klecan each tried to explain how the decision that is made could <br />effect everyone. <br />Mrs. Zolar motioned to table the issue of allowing the students enrolled in a paramedic class <br />but not yet started until a legal opinion is rendered from the law department. The applicants <br />will be notified of the special meeting date once it is scheduled and if they can not attend the <br />meeting the clerk will notify each of them once the decision is made. The motion was <br />seconded by P. Farrell and unanimously approved. Mr. Thomay stated that "the motion would <br />only effect those who are on the list because of their starting date". <br />Scott Buettner, Paramedic card expired 3/31/00. <br />Mr. Thomay questioned if Mr. Buettner was present to either show that he has a new card or <br />has completed the classes required to renew his paramedic card. No one came forward. , Mr. <br />Thomay questioned the Assistant Fire Chief as to how Mr. Buettner could be currently working <br />as a paramedic in Cleveland if his card has expired. Asst. Fire Chief Klecan suggested that <br />maybe the applicant copied the wrong card but as he does not know Mr. Buettner, he could not <br />answer Mr. Thomay's question. Mr. Thomay questioned if the clerk tried to contact Mr. <br />Buettner. The clerk indicated that she called each of the numbers listed on Mr. Buettner <br />application and left a message for him to contact her on 7/13/00 and 7/14/00. <br />J. Thomay motioned to disqualify Scott Buettner, for an in complete application. The motion <br />was seconded by P. Farrell and unanimously approved. <br />2. David C. Barber, classes start date August 21, 2000. <br />3. Kevin Scott, paramedic start dates after December 20, 2000. . <br />4. David A. Swope, start date after August 17, 2000. <br />5. Daniel J. Rogers, start date September 2000. <br />6. Scott Brumagin, start classes August 24, 2000. <br />7. Michael Mohnickey, start classes August 24, 2000. <br />Gregory R. Kolar, no proof in paramedic class or paramedic (letter is not possible). <br />9. George M. Cehelnik, need proof in paramedic class or paramedic (unpaid bill does not prove <br />in class). <br />10. Martin D'Amico, no proof in paramedic class or paramedic cards. <br />J..Thomay motioned for Gregory R. Kolar, George M. Cehelnik,, Martin D'Amico, Anthony <br />V. Gandolfi and Jeff Dudas to be disqualified for incomplete applications. The motion was <br />seconded by P. Farrell and unanimously approved. <br />11. Anthony V. Gandolfi, no proof in paramedic class or paramedic. <br />
