J. Thomay motioned to select Cooperative Personnel Services as the testing company and for the clerk to have the authority to approve the contracts for the Dispatchers and Correction Officers examinations. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. B) The Commissioners need to make a motion on the date, time, and place selected for the Radio Central Dispatcher and Corrections Officer tests. J. Thomay motioned to set the Correction Officers and Central Dispatchers testing dates for March 2, 2001 with a start time of 7:30 p. in. at the North Olmsted Community Cabin. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. C) The Commissioners need to determine how many applications will be given out to candidates whom wish to take the Radio Central Dispatchers and Correction Officers tests. J. Thomay motioned to handout, as many applications as requested with an understanding that only the first 100 applications returned would be accepted. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. D) The Commissioners need to set passing scores for the Radio Central Dispatcher and Correction Officer tests. J. Thomay motioned to set the passing scores at 70% for both Central Dispatcher and Correction Officer written examinations. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. E) The Commissioners need to select an administrator for each test. J. Thomay motioned to have himself administer the Central Dispatchers examination and for Lois Zolar to administer the Correction Officers examination. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. F) The Commissioners need to approve the applications and newspaper ads for the Radio Central Dispatcher and Correction Officer tests. J. Thomay motioned to approve the applications and newspaper ads for both the Radio Central Dispatchers exam and the Correction Officers exam. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved. G) The Commissioners need to review the Purchase Orders placed for the newspaper ads for public notice of Civil Service tests. (Radio Central Dispatchers and Corrections Officers) . J. Thomay motioned to approve the purchase orders placed for the newspaper ads. The motion was seconded by L. Zolar and unanimously approved.
