He indicated that budget constraints may prevent that from happening. Mr. Thomay <br />said that perhaps they should not address it all at once. They could cover one section at a time. <br />They should have the time to do it. Mrs. Kilbane suggested that the board members consider <br />taking a certain number of pages to review between tonight and the next meeting in order to get <br />the process started. Mr. Thomay said they will need to review the notes that were made along the <br />way because there were areas where they encountered difficulty. Mrs. Martin pointed out the <br />board members have a copy of the rules from Bay Village and Westlake. She indicated she will <br />contact the civil service commission in Rocky River to obtain a copy of their book. Mr. Thomay <br />said they should take a look at those books as well. They can discuss what was done previously at <br />the next meeting. They can take it from there and set a schedule. Mr. Thomay indicated when the <br />review process was started before, he sent a memo to the police chief and the fire chief. Mrs. <br />Kilbane said she will find the memo and any previous notes to assist in the review process. There <br />was a brief discussion of possibly canceling the February meeting if there are no items on the <br />agenda other than the handbook. The board members would then have more time to review the <br />material. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />ADJOURNMENT: J.
