the most part document charges are .5 cents a single sided sheet (8 '/2 X 11). The commission indicated that <br />they would change the coping fee to reflect .5 cents a single sided sheet (8 '/z X 11). <br />The commissioners reviewed all sections of the following Civil Service Rules, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 for <br />possible changes. All corrections or changes that were adopted by the commission are attached to these <br />minutes. The Commission briefly discussed possible wording changes under promotional exams and decided <br />to hold off on making changes until the Entry -Level wording was completed. <br />R. Giesser motioned to make amendments and or deletions to the following potions of the. North <br />Olmsted Civil Service Commission Handbook: (1). Chapter 1 section 4, paragraph 7. (2). Rule I, <br />sections 1 & 2. (3). Rule II sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. (4). Rule 3 section 2. (5). Rule IV section 1, <br />2, and 3. (6). Rule V sections 1, 2, and 3. (7). Rule VI sections 2 and 3. (8). Rule VII sections 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, <br />and 9. (9). Rule VIII section 1. These amendments and or deletions are reflected by exhibit A which is <br />attached to the minutes and shows the revised rules. W. Hohmann seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Wording for application packets need to be reviewed <br />The commission reviewed the proposed application packet for Entry -Level examination. <br />R. Giesser motioned to adopt the applicant packet as revised and the revisions are attached to the <br />minutes as exhibit B. W. Hohmann seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />2. Wording for news paper ads need to be reviewed. <br />Civil Service Commissioners reviewed the proposed news paper ad for entry level examination. <br />R. Giesser motioned to adopt the ad that has been revised and the revisions are attached to the <br />minutes as exhibit C. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />3. Discussion regarding testing company to administer exam <br />R. Giesser motioned to set the passing score for the Entry -Lever Fire Fighters/Paramedic examination <br />at 70%. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />R. Giesser motioned to hire Vantage McCann as the testing company for the Fire Fighter/Paramedic <br />examination and request the appointing authority request emergency legislation to allow the Mayor to <br />enter a contract with said testing company chosen. W. Hohmann seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. <br />The clerk is to look into available dates for the testing site, possible examination dates and quotes for ads, <br />deadline dates for ads. <br />VI. ADJOURNMENT: <br />R. Giesser motion to adjourn the meeting. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting which was <br />unanimously approved.
