Giesser motion to set the Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic examination date on <br />August 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. or subject to the availability of the Community Cabin, the <br />ads will appear in the Plain Dealer, Sunday, July 25, 2004 & Sunday, August 1, 2004, the <br />West Life, Wednesday, July 28, 2004. The applications will be available for pickup and <br />receipt of completed applications from Monday, July 26, 2004 through Monday, August <br />9, 2004. The Civil Service Commission will meet August 16, 2004 to review applications <br />for completeness. To accommodate the Entry -Level exam the Civil Service Commission <br />will hold a special meeting September 13, 2004 and keep the regularly scheduled meeting <br />of September 20, 2004 as well. W. Hohmann seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. <br />R. Giesser motion that if the Community Cabin is not available for August 20, 2004 at <br />7:00 p.m. date chosen the clerk will next try to book Saturday 21, 2004 at 10:00 am if not <br />available August 23, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. and then Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. <br />M. Ubaldi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. O'Malley stated that he believed that the Fire Chief, Asst. Fire Chief and the Civil Service <br />Commissioner's should be commended for working so attentively together updating the entry- <br />level firefighter sections of the Civil Service Handbook. <br />VI.
