V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />A. Review applications for Entry -Level Fire examination to be administered 8/19/04 <br />The Commissioners requested the Assistant Fire Chief remain within the building so if they had <br />questions they felt he could answer he could be called back into the room. The commissioners <br />requested that the clerk number the applications which were questionable and if an application was <br />to be rejected a motion would be made indicating the name being rejected. If the application is to be <br />accepted the commission would make one motion to accept completed applications after the review. <br />1. R. Giesser moved to reject the application of Matthew Ditlevson on the grounds that he failed <br />to provide adequate documentation showing he has a valid certified Paramedic card issue <br />dated prior to the filing deadline of August 9, 2004, as he is still .in class. W. Hohmann <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Application Rejected <br />2. R. Giesser moved to reject the application of Nikola Zamiska on the grounds that he failed to <br />return page 10 of the application package. W. Hohmann seconded the motion, which was <br />unanimously approved. Application Rejected <br />3. R. Giesser moved to reject the application of Justin Morales on the grounds that he failed to <br />provide adequate documentation showing he has a valid certified Paramedic card issue dated <br />prior to the filing deadline of August 9, 2004 as he is still in class. W. Hohmann seconded the <br />motion, which was unanimously approved. Application Rejected <br />4. R. Giesser moved to reject the applications of Dennis Danczak, Darren Schultz and William <br />Rivera on the grounds that they failed to submit the required application fee. W. Hohmann <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Applications Rejected <br />5. M. Ubaldi moved to reject the applications of Jeffery Satow and Renee Reali on the grounds . <br />that they submitted personal checks which are in violation of the requirements. R. Giesser <br />seconded the motion, roll call on the motion R. Giesser, M. Ubaldi "Yes" and W. Hohmann <br />"No", motion passed. Applications Rejected. <br />During the discussion regarding applications which included cash, personal checks and no payments <br />received Mr. Ubaldi was adamantly against accepting any applications which included cash. <br />6. R. Giesser moved to reject the application of Timothy Coughlin on the grounds that he failed <br />to provide adequate documentation showing he has a valid certified Paramedic card issue <br />dated prior to the filing deadline of August 9, 2004. W. Hohmann seconded the motion, which <br />was unanimously approved. Application Rejected. <br />7. R. Giesser moved to reject the application of Christopher Campbell on the grounds that he <br />failed to provide adequate documentation showing he has a valid certified Paramedic card <br />issue dated prior to the filing deadline of August 9, 2004. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion, <br />which was unanimously approved. Application Rejected. <br />8. M. Ubaldi moved to reject the application of Derek Van Dervellen on the grounds that the <br />applicant failed to have page 9 notarized or signed. R. Giesser seconded the motion, which <br />was unanimously approved. Application Rejected. <br />
