R. Giesser moved to grant military credit to the following candidates; Scott Cline 3 points, Ryan Fairbanks 3 points, Brian Gilles 2.5 points, Mark Baltakis 3 points. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. The commissioners discussed and read documentation regarding tie scores and how tie scores are to be ranked. They reviewed the, final scores and ranking to make sure each candidate was ranked correctly. After military credit was added two adjustments to the final ranking list were made and corrected postings and ranking lists were printed. 2. Certify test results of Firefighter entry-level written examination. Ms. Giesser reviewed that One hundred ninety, (190) candidates picked up applications. One hundred thirty, (130) candidates returned their applications. Twenty, (20) application were rejected. One hundred four, (104) candidates were scheduled to take the written test. Ten, (10) written exam candidates did not show up to take the test. Ninety four, (94) candidates participated in the written test. Eighty five, (85) Candidates passed the written test. Nine, (9) candidates failed the written test. R. Giesser moved to certify the names of the 85 passing candidates listed out on the final ranking list and to send the top 5 ranking names to the fire chief and appointing authority. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. 3. Approve letters to candidates informing them of their test results. R. Giesser moved to certify the 9 letters to candidates indicating they failed. The commission also certifies the 85 letters to the candidates informing them of their final score and their ranking on the certified list. W. Hohmann seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. VI. ADJOURNMENT: R. Giesser moved to adjourn the meeting. M. Ubaldi seconded the motion which was unanimously approved.
