indicated that he can draw up a draft proposal for the rule change concerning voluntary removal of names. Mr. Hohmann asked Mr. O'Malley to cover amendments to the draft proposal of rules concerning hiring two on the list at one time. Mr. O'Malley will look into the matter. Mrs. Giesser made a motion to accept removal of Brian Clute and Alexander Casey. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. If there are indications from the Fire Department that there will be additional hiring made for entry level fireman, Mrs. Giesser made a motion to certify Mathias Burke, Daniel Holstein, Mike Fusco, Bryan Gallagher and Mike Rodrigues as the top five names. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mrs. Giesser will talk to the Fire Chief, Tom Kelcan, and advise him when requesting new names that he should go through Mrs. Eccleston and she will keep the chairperson informed. IV. OLD BUSINESS: Mrs. Giesser advised that legislation was passed by Council in regard to the creation of two new positions in the Department of Personnel & Administrative Services. The Commission will need to make a determination on classification of the Employment Specialist & Secretary I/Civil Service Secretary. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to classify the Employment Specialist & unclassified the Secretary I/Civil Service Secretary. Mrs. Giesser seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mrs. Giesser addressed the review of Rule III, Rule IV Section 2, and Rule IX of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations. Mrs. Kilbane advised that there was no motion to modify Rule III Section 8d at the previous meeting. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion in the North Olmsted Civil Service Rules and Regulations Handbook, Rule III, Section 8 has Sub Sections a -e. All. Sub Sections, except 8d, will be accepted as written, as voted on by the Civil Service Commission in previous meetings. Section 8d will read as follows: "For Police Department Promotional Examinations, efficiency evaluations credits shall be awarded based on the efficiency evaluation of the applicant within 6 months of the scheduled examination, using the following scale: Efficiency Rating (E) Exceeds Expectations 1 Point Efficiency Rating (M) Meets Expectations 0 Points Efficiency Rating (B) Below Expectations 0 Points Efficiency Rating (U) Unsatisfactory 0 Points" Mrs. Giesser seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mrs. Giesser asked Mr. Ubaldi if he wanted to discuss Rule IV, Section 2 and Rule IX. Mr. Ubaldi indicated to reserve those for the next meeting.
