Mrs. Giesser indicated the Commission needs to be a little more proactive to finish up the classified <br />and unclassified positions. Mr. Ubaldi obtained a list of all employees and informed the <br />Commission where they have made determinations. If the list is correct, there are only five <br />positions to be determined. They are: Hot Lunch Program Manager and Outreach Worker at the <br />Senior Center, Forester Class A in Service and Class 1 Truck Driver and Laborer C at the Waste <br />Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Hohmann asked when did this issue come up and Mrs. Giesser advised <br />with Mr. Bingelli. Mr. Hohmann wanted to know if this is a pressing issue with the Personnel <br />Department. Mrs. Giesser indicated that this is a pressing issue with the Commission so every <br />position has been determined. Mr. Ubaldi indicated all the employees must be designated one way <br />or the other. Mr. O'Malley said it is important to the Personnel Department due to compensatory <br />time, fair labor standards, and overtime. <br />Mrs. Giesser would like a memo sent to Cheryl Farver, Supervisors and employees whose positions <br />are not yet designated, inviting them to attend the next meeting or submit written comments prior to <br />the meeting. <br />Mrs. Giesser indicated the potential for the Civil Service Commission to be on vacation in August, <br />2005. Mr. Hohmann advised that there should be a vote next meeting. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Address requests to remove candidate names from the entry level fire fighter and police officer <br />eligibility list. <br />This information was address under section III, Communications. <br />VI.
