1Y <br />VI <br />Address Business Related to the Corrections Officer Testing <br />The date for the Entry -Level Corrections Officer examination will be on Saturday, April 28, 2007. <br />A general discussion followed regarding the written examination; 100 applications accepted; 70% <br />passing score; no oral or agility required; regulations in the O.R.C.; Civil Service Rules and <br />Regulations handbook; job description; pay scale; vacancy; provisional hire. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to accept final details for the Entry -Level Corrections Officer <br />Examination. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />There have been a number of changes made to the State Civil Service Law. The Law Department <br />would like to do a point by point review of the changes to State Law and how they compare to the <br />Civil Service handbook. <br />Entry -Level applications are being returned to the Police Department. A general discussion <br />followed regarding the applications; review; question applications are set aside for the <br />Commission's review; $5.00 non refundable fee. <br />ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to adjourn at 8:16 pm.
