administered at the Police Department, psychiatric examination includes the polygraph for review, <br />oral interview with the Chief, Assistant Chief and Captain. The expense for the pre-employment is <br />as follows: the City does not incur a fee for the polygraph test; the psychiatric examination is $650. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Address Business Related to the Building Inspector Examination <br />A draft for the application was prepared as well as the ad for the Building Inspector Examination. <br />There are two (2) dates reserved for the examination: August 25, 2007 and September 8, 2007. Mr. <br />Ubaldi indicated that September 8th would be a better date due to vacation of the secretary. The <br />Commission is not required to have a protest period and a 30 day buffer between publication and <br />test. The qualifications will need to be reviewed by the Building Commissioner. A general <br />discussion followed regarding the testing date; ad; special meeting; publish ad on 7/29/07; <br />applications available 7/30/07; application deadline 8/23/07. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to cancel the regular Civil Service Meeting scheduled for August <br />20, 2007 and that all business that would have been scheduled for August 20th, including the <br />hearing for removal of candidate Holloway from the Firefighter's eligible list, is rescheduled <br />for August 27, 2007. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to set forward all preparations for the advertisement, physical <br />accommodation, and conduction of the test for Building Inspector as laid out in the previous <br />discussion as so designated by the Commission. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and <br />unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Address Hearing Notices for Determination of Disqualification and Removal of Names from the <br />Police and Firefighter Eligible Lists <br />There are two (2) guests at tonight's meeting. They are candidates on the Entry -Level Police <br />Eligible list. Melissa Zurawski explained her situation regarding her agility certification. She did <br />take the agility test which entailed six (6) portions and did not pass the bench press. Her husband <br />was on a two (2) week leave from Iraq. Melissa would like another opportunity to take the test. Mr. <br />Ubaldi indicated that there were six (6) opportunities she could have taken the test. A general <br />discussion followed concerning her testing. Mr. Ubaldi indicated that according to the rules, the <br />Commission cannot allow her to take the test again; however, there will be another opportunity in a <br />couple of years for an examination. Kevin Coleman explained that he has in his possession his <br />agility certification with an expiration date of 4/1/08. He missed placed his ranking letter indicating <br />the 60 day limit for submitting his agility certification and would like to request the Commission to <br />accept it tonight. Mr. Ubaldi indicated that the Commission cannot make an allowance to accept <br />Mr. Coleman's agility certification. <br />Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to remove all applicants on the eligible list for Patrol Officer that is <br />designated to be removed for lack of an agility certification. Mr. Hohmann seconded the <br />motion and unanimously approved. <br />
