CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONINDEX FOR 2007 MEETINGS Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to request of the appointing authority to receive two (2) additional names in light of the fact that the two (2) candidates remaining for consideration of the currently open vacancy have been deemed in the majority of the Commission accepted as unqualified in the opinion of the appointing authority. The respective request is made for the removal of the candidates, Todd Skinner and Mark Carbone. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to certify the following five (5) names to the appointing authority for the position of Corrections Officer and establish a two (2) year eligible list: James McWilliam, Jeffery Madej, Steven Kopniske, Daniel Franklin and Jeremy Betsa. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. JUNE 189 2007 Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to accept the minutes as submitted. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to grant authorization to the appointing authority for an "Exceptional" appointment for the position of Plumbing/Building Inspector. Ms. Zolar seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to grant authorization to the appointing authority of one (1) part-time Building Inspector and one (1) part-time Property Maintenance Inspector according to the Rules regarding "Temporary" hire. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to amend the language as in the aforementioned outline for Rule Il, Entry Level Qualifications, Section 9, Building Inspector Examination. Ms. Zolar seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to establish an eligible list for the position of Assistant Fire Chief. The candidates are Todd Kirkpatrick, David Boatman, James Miller and Jack Sevier. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to certify Todd Kirkpatrick to the appointing authority for the position of Assistant Fire Chief. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved. Mr. Ubaldi made a motion to forward the amended letter to the candidates who failed to submit their agility certification according to the Rule for Entry -Level Police and Fire. Mr. Hohmann seconded the motion and unanimously approved.
