CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM MINUTES -- APRIL 15, 2013 7:00 P.M. I. ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. PRESENT: J. Barrett, M. Ubaldi and M. Hayes ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, S. Barrett and Civil Service Secretary D. Eccleston IL DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the minutes of the January 7, 2013 meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. III. COMMUNICATIONS: There were 18 items of correspondence received and 43 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil Service Commission. IV. OLD BUSINESS: V. NEW BUSINESS: Removal of Candidate on the Entry-Level Patrol Officer Eligible List Chairman Barrett stated last month the Commission received correspondence from Police Chief Gallagher regar ing David Schuerger's polygraph test administered on March 11, 2013. The Police Chief was requesting the removal of Mr. Schuerger's name from the eligible list. On March 25, 2013 a hearing notice was sent to Mr. Schuerger inviting him to the next Civil Service meeting. The Chairman reviewed Rule VII, Eligible List, Section 9, Disqualification and Notice. Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Ubaldi, to remove David Schuerger from the Entry-Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. Motion passed unanimously. Amended Entry-Level Patrol Officer Eligible List Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to amend the Entry-Level Patrol Officer Eligible List as submitted. Motion passed unanimously.
