The weight for the Police Sergeant Examination will be 60%written and 40% oral assessment. A
general discussion commenced regarding Poly-Tech's proposal. Since Dr. Doverspike will
construct 40 custom items written uniquely for the City of North Olmsted, the Commission will
utilize Option 1A, stock items, for the written test; therefore, the written test will equate to 60%
stock and 40% custom.
Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Ubaldi that the weighting of scores is as
follows: Written, 60%; Oral, 40%. The Commission desires Section lA that was submitted
by Poly-Tech.
Motion passed unanimously.
Promotional Fire Lieutenant Examination
The Commission discussed the Promotional Fire Lieutenant Examination process.
