A confirmation call will be made. <br /> Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Ubaldi, based upon discussion <br /> regarding extending the study time for the Promotional Fire Lieutenant's Examination, the <br /> Commission will extend the testing dates for the Promotional Fire Lieutenant's Examination <br /> to February 15,2014 for the written and March 1, 2014 tentatively for the oral assessment. <br /> The Commission shall notify all parties involved of the amended dates. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Entry-Level Patrol Offrcer Eligible List <br /> Commissioner Barrett said based upon a new hire of James Kaminski,November 18, 2013,for <br /> Patrolman, Joseph Ganelli is the next name on the Patrol Officer Eligible List and will be certified. <br /> Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the Commission certify the <br /> name of Joseph Ganelli based upon the hire of James Kaminski on November 18,2013 and <br /> certify the Entry-Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Entry-Level Patrol Officer Candidate Passed Over Three (3) Times <br /> Chairman Barrett stated that the Commission has a candidate on the Entry-Level Patrol Officer <br /> Eligible List by the name of Erik Joyce that has been certified three (3) times to the appointing <br /> authority and under the Civil Service rules, Rule VII, Section 9 h, and also Rule IX, the <br /> Commission will schedule a hearing to remove him from the list. <br /> Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to schedule a hearing at the next <br /> regular scheduled meeting of December 16,2013 to remove Erik Joyce from the Entry-Level <br /> Patrol Officer Eligible List. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> A discussion commenced regarding the Promotional Police Sergeant issue and legal counsel <br /> O'Malley advised the Commission to hold the discussion until the hearing. <br /> VY.
