CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM <br />MINUTES -- JANUARY 27, 2014 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />PRESENT: J. Barrett, M. Hayes and K. Rahm <br />ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director C. Farver, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, Fire <br />Chief E. Schepp, S. Barrett, and Civil Service Secretary D. Eccleston <br />II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />The Civil Service minutes dated November 25, 2013, December 16, 2013 and January 13, 2014 <br />have been submitted far approval. <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the minutes of the <br />November 25, 2013 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the minutes of the <br />December 16, 2013 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, that the minutes of the special <br />meeting of January 13, 2014 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />There were 6 items of correspondence received and 7 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil <br />Service Commission. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Election of Officers <br />Commissioner Hayes moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to retain Jerome Barrett as <br />Chairman to the Civil Service Commission. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
