Motion passed unanimously. <br />Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Applications <br />The Civil Service Commission reviewed nine (9) applications for the Entry -Level <br />Firefighter/Paramedic examination. There were six (6) applications with underage violations; they <br />were all approved. There were two (2) applicants that will have expired agility certifications by the <br />time of the test. The Commission advised for the secretary to contact the applicants by email to <br />inform them about their soon to be expired agility certifications. The Commission received an <br />applications with no agility certification on 3126114 and on 4118114 the applicant faxed his agility <br />certification in from Stark State College but is over the allotted time set by the Commission (4:42 <br />and our rule states 4:30). The Commission advised the Secretary to contact the applicant by phone <br />to advise him of our rule. The last application reviewed, the applicant did not answer #8 which has <br />to do with criminal record. The Commission advised the Secretary to send the applicant a rejection <br />letter along with his certified check or money order. Also, the Secretary reviewed the Paramedic <br />certifications and some candidates have the FF2 certification listed on that certificate; therefore, the <br />applicant will be receiving one (1) extra credit point. <br />VI. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motioned passed unanimously.
