CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED SPECIAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM MINUTES - AUGUST 11, 2014 7:00 P.M. I. ROLL CALL: Chairman J. Barrett called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. PRESENT: J. Barrett, M. Hayes and K. Rahm ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director C. Farver, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, Assistant Superintendent C. Rosemark, Collection System Foreman J. Auner, R. Kline, S. Barrett, and Civil Service Secretary D. Eccleston II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: III. COMMUNICATIONS: IV. OLD BUSINESS: Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List Chairman Barrett moved, seconded by Commissioner Hayes, to remove the names of Julio Camargo and Matthew Gatien from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List due to receipt of voluntary removal letters and to certify the names of Stephen Stroud and James Stolarilc from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. Motion passed unanimously. Amendment to Rule III Final discussion commenced regarding the draft proposal of Rule III, Promotions. The Commission is dealing with the issue of establishing eligibility requirements and defining good standing. A specific application process can be established with the promotional candidates much like the Commission does with entry-level candidates where the eligibility is determined as a pre -requisite. Commissioner Hayes moved, seconded by Commissioner Rahm, to amend Rule III, Section 5 and Section 6 as submitted. Motion passed unanimously. V. NEW BUSINESS: Entry -Level Clerical Examination Results and Eligible List Chairman Barrett read the results of the Entry -Level Clerical Examination: ranked #10 is Robyn Kline with a score of 73.73%; ranked #9 is Mary Check with a score of 74.12%; ranked #8 is Lisa Gonzalez with a score of 75.64%; ranked #7 is Erin Walsh with a score of 76.23%; ranked #6 is Kaylie Weinhardt with a score of 76.45%; ranked 4 5 is Denise Karban with a score of 76.86%;
