Kevin Urbansky, Justin Gallagher, Michael Kelly and Matthew Krivosh to the Entry -Level Patrol <br />Officer Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to remove the following name <br />from the Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List due to receiving a voluntary removal letter <br />pursuant to Rule VII, Section 10: Thomas Kelly and to certify the name of David Ineman to the <br />Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Civil Service Chair Election <br />Motion by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to nominate Bill Brake as Civil <br />Service Chairman. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Commissioner Kelly, seconded by Chairman Brake, to nominate Tim Smith as Civil <br />Service Vice -Chairman. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Police Lieutenant Promotional Test/Assessment <br />General discussion commenced regarding the passing score of the exam, the weight of the written <br />exam and the weight of the individual assessment. The Commission also reviewed the reference <br />material. A calendar was presented to the Commission with tentative dates of events including and <br />leading up to the written exam and individual assessments. The Commission agreed to have the <br />passing score be 70% and to have the written exam weighted 55% and the individual assessment <br />weighted 45%. <br />Motion by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to weigh the written at 55%, <br />and weigh the individual assessment 45%. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />General discussion commenced regarding the tentative calendar for the Promotional Police <br />Lieutenant Assessment about adding extra days for the assessment to accommodate for the holidays <br />in the month of December and January. The Civil Service meeting in January was rescheduled for <br />January 29, 2018. <br />Motion by Chairman Brake, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to accept the calendar with the <br />added dates for the individual assessment due to the holidays and to have a special meeting to <br />review the results. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Chairman Brake, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to accept the references materials <br />for the written portion of the exam. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
