McEntee - 10 <br />Regular Meeting January 7, 1961: <br />Approved revisions made for an Architectural Board of Review. <br />Approved further revisions of Ordinance No. 1988, in regards to <br />swimming pools. <br />Regular Meeting February 4, 1961: <br />Discussed swimming pools at length, as to construction and sanitary <br />operation. Submitted a set of minimum standards for swimming pools. <br />Regular Meeting March 4, 1961: <br />Received an appeal from Mr. Ken Atkins, owner of house built by <br />Olmsted Colony, Inc., constructed at 6447 Cyprus Drive. Mr. Atkins <br />claimed errors in construction, not satisfactorily repaired. The <br />Board also interviewed Mr.. Frank Hausman, and Mr. Dusick, represent- <br />ing Olmsted Colony Inc., as to their version of the problem, and <br />any solution they might offer to correct same. A committee, con- <br />sisting of three members of the Board, inspected the premises and <br />recommended necessary corrections to comply with the Building Code. <br />A letter was sent to Olmsted Colony Inc., advising of the Board's <br />recommendations. <br />Regular Meeting April 8, 1961: <br />Discussion ensued relative to letter received from Olmsted Colony <br />Inc., pertaining to the residence of W. Ken Atkins, 6447 Cyprus <br />Drive. It was moved and seconded that the Board's letter of <br />March 13, 1961 be upheld and that Olmsted Colony Inc., be so <br />notified. The work recommended must be completed and inspected <br />by the Building Commissioner within thirty days of notification, <br />or Ordinance No. 1515.11 of the Regional Dwelling House Code <br />would be enforced. <br />Regular Meeting May 6, 1961: <br />Discussion ensued relative to coverage (bonds and insurance of <br />contractors and individual owners). It was determined that it was <br />fully covered under existing ordinances. <br />Page 1. <br />
