,A. - 4 - Annual Report - 1966 <br />Board of Building Code Appeals <br />Regular Meeting - September 27, 1966 <br />Mr, Irwin L. Seidel will fill Mr. McMichaels term to January 1, 1969, <br />John Forbes presented new serew contractor examinations for Boardts <br />approval. Additions and corrections were made. <br />Regular Meeting - October 25, 1966 <br />Demolition Ordinance discussed. Owner may appeal before Board after <br />receiving notice of the condemened building. Board may then recommend <br />to Council whether they feel the building should be demolished or if <br />it can be brought up to code. <br />Public hearing required by Ord. #2806, appeal by R. A. Gray to build <br />a one story dwelling at P.P. 237-12-21 Mac Beth. Mr. McEntee made motion <br />to approve providing Zoning Board of Appeals approves variance on <br />sideline restrictions. Mr. Hebebrand seconded, unanimous. <br />Public hearing regarding demolition of building at 29843 Lorain Road, <br />appeal by F. J. Geib. Mr. McEntee made motion that appeal be denied, <br />Mr. Seidel seconded, unanimous. <br />Public hearing regarding demolition of a house at 25284 Lorain Road, <br />appeal by R. H. Puzzitello, Mr. McEntee made motion to deny appeal, <br />Mr. Hebebrand seconded, unanimous. <br />Discussion held on air pollution in the City. <br />Regular Meeting - November 22, 1966 <br />Mr. McEntee made motion to change by-laws as follows: ARTICLE III - <br />See. 1 Bldg. Board of Appeals 'Meetings shall be held the third <br />Wednesday of the month, 7:30 P.M. at City Hall, with hearings heard <br />at 8:00 P.M.' Mr. Gilbert seconded, unanimous. <br />Expansion Joints discussed. There are now at least three suppliers. <br />Mr. Gilbert made motion to accept, Mr. Gundy's letter of 9/15/66 to <br />Gen. Plumbing and Sewer Contractors with addition of (Clay Pipe) after <br />Prohibited Joints and Connections, and to approve use of expansion <br />Joints. Mr. McEntee seconded, unanimous. <br />Use of fiber pipe discussed. Mr. Gilbert suggested this be put into <br />committee until each member is furnished a completed set of material <br />to study. <br />Air Pollution Ordinance - study by the Space Comfort Company will be <br />furnished. <br />Material presented on proposed Air Conditioning Ordinance that would <br />be included as part of the building code. <br />I* <br />
