ar <br />U <br />Page 4 - Annual Report - 1967 - Board of Building Code Appeals <br />Public Hearing required by Ordinance x/64-113, reouested by William Koster, to <br />use a material called Thoroseal on exposed exterior walls of the Medical <br />Building, 25300 Lorain Road. It was decided that the Board would do some <br />research on the material in question and a special meeting held to make a decision. <br />Public Hearing required by Ordinance J{63-224, requested by George Bellan, to <br />move a frame dwelling from 18745 Rocky River Oval to Permanent Parcel #236-16-8 <br />(Kennedy Ridge Road). Mr. Seidel moved and Mr. Gilbert seconded that the <br />Building Department issue a permit subject to sideline restrictions and setback <br />restrictions being met and complete grading done within six months from date of <br />permit. Unanimously approved. <br />Public Hearing required by Ordinance #2806, requested by Stanley Osinski, to <br />build a house on a 50 foot lot beingPermanent Parcel #'231-8-30 (23393 Alexander <br />Road). Mr. McEntee moved and Mr. Dansberg seconded that the Building Departanent <br />issue a permit for the 501 lot. Unanimously approved. <br />Special Meeting - September 27, 1967 <br />Members reported their findings regarding Thoroseal. Mr. McEntee moved to deny <br />the appeal to use Thoroseal on exposed exterior wells of the Medical Building, <br />25300 Lorain Road. Mr. Dansberg seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />Regular Meeting - October 18, 1967 <br />Public Hearing required by Ordinance #2806, requested by Greenwood Homes, Inc., <br />to build a house on a 50 foot lot being Permanent Parcel #,231-17-7 (Columbia Road). <br />Mr. McEntee moved that a building permit be granted if the City Engineer can solve <br />the existing water problem on this particular lot so that he can provide drainage <br />for storm water and downspouts. Mr. Seidel seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />Mr. Gundy presented literature regarding the Magic Chef automatic gas waste dis- <br />poser and asked the Board to study its contents. Since it is an entirely new <br />concept, it must be approved by the Board before it can be installed in our city. <br />Regular Meeting - November 15, 1967 <br />Public Hearing required by Ordinance x}2806, requested by Brun Realty Co., to <br />build a house on a 50 foot lot being S/L;�U r;West•231 Street. Air. McEntee moved <br />and Mr. Pnnsberg seconded that the Building Department issue a permit for the <br />501 lot. Unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Forbes presented written recommendations regarding plumbing installation in <br />apartment buildings. The proposed recommendations were discussed and Mr. Dansberg <br />moved to accept same and to recommend to Council that they be adopted. Mr. Seidel <br />seconded the motion. Unanimously passed. <br />Regular Meeting - December 20, 1967 <br />P►_iblic Hearing required by Ordinance #63-224, requested by Charles Benns, to <br />move a frame dwelling from Rocky River Oval to Permanent Parcel #235-13-131,132, <br />133 (between 5794 and 5816 Decker Road). Mr. McEntee moved and Mr. Dansberg <br />seconded that the Building Department issue a permit subject to sideline <br />restrictions and setback restrictions being met and complete grading done within <br />six months from date of permit. If sectioning of house is necessary, it should <br />be put back together to bring it up to code. Unanimously approved. <br />
