A <br />ANNUAL REPORT - BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS PAGE 2 <br />Members discussed possible addition to the code regarding concrete; <br />enforceable warranty. <br />Mr. Gundy asked for input from the Board Members regarding new One <br />and Two Family Dwelling House Code. <br />May 25, 1978 <br />Deitrik and DeWitt material has been reviewed by Assistant Law Dir- <br />ector Hessler. The DeWitt case has been turned over to the Prosecutor. <br />The duties of Board of Building Code Appeals was reviewed now that the <br />city has an Architectural Review Board. Material was distributed <br />concerning both of the Boards' duties. Building Commissioner Gundy <br />said the duties for this Board are established and set forth in <br />Official Charter of the City of North Olmsted and are currently <br />effective. The Architectural Review Board is to work with the <br />Planning Commission regarding esthetics, primarily commercial es- <br />tablishments. <br />One and Two Family Dwelling House Code was reviewed with many comments <br />and sugguestions on how it may be improved. <br />June 15, 1978 <br />Dismissed request of Rev. John Withers to move house from 28490 Lorain <br />Road to Permanent Parcel No. 234-12-15 Sub Lot #2 because of lack of <br />prosecution by the applicant. <br />It was announced that the Regional Dwelling House Code had become <br />obsolete - only the One and Two Family Dwelling House Code is being <br />used. <br />The One and Two Family Dwelling House Code was reviewed by Board <br />members. <br />July 27, 1978 <br />Approved request of Kingswood Construction Co. - Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-13-52 (Porter Road between 5703 and 5733 Porter) to build <br />on a 50' lot. <br />Approved the request of Mr. Milt Gates to build on a 40' lot. Per- <br />manent Parcel No. 235-14-76 which is located immediately south of <br />5963 Decker Road. <br />Amendments to One and Two Family National Dwelling House Code were <br />reviewed. Board Members recommended numerous changes. <br />August 17, 1978 <br />Approved request of Mr. Zack W. Smith, 6051 Forest Ridge Road, <br />
