LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR MEETING OF MARCH 11, 2019 <br />7:00 PM <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Neville called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm in Council Chambers. <br />Present: David Neville, Elizabeth Cardarelli, Tom Dubowski, Sarah Egan -Reeves, Kevin <br />Kearney, Jim Morse, Paul Schumann <br />Absent: Gretchen Schuler <br />Staff. Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, Planner James Aspery <br />Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Morse, to excuse the absence of Ms. Schuler, <br />motion passed 7-0. <br />REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Landmarks Commission minutes of January 14, 2019 are submitted for approval. <br />Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the Landmarks <br />Commission minutes of January 14, 2019, motion passed 7-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Year in Review <br />Mr. Schumann asked if the document will be shared online and made available at the upcoming <br />community training in April. Mr. Aspery said copies will be available at the training and a digital <br />version will be posted on the City's website, social media channels and email newsletters. Mr. <br />Neville asked the Commission to review the provided document before voting on approval. <br />Mr. Kearney moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the 2018 Year in Review, <br />motion passed 7-0. <br />Community Training/Heritage Home Program <br />Ms. Cardarelli shared that presentation on Maintenance and Energy Efficiency of Older Homes <br />will be combined with the information session on the Heritage Home Program. It is planned for <br />April 8, 2019 in lieu of a regular Commission meeting. Mr. Schumann asked about the total cost <br />of the Heritage Home Program to the City. Ms. Cardarelli estimated the program costs at <br />approximately one dollar per eligible house in the city, which includes technical assistance and a <br />mayor's letter. She will send more program details to the Commission. <br />Centennial Home Prouam <br />Mr. Aspery provided an outline of the audit, noting interesting research findings, and requested <br />that the Commission make a determination on how to proceed with the program. He noted that <br />281 properties have been researched to date, with at least 75 other properties in need of further <br />
