Leah said there will be <br />three savory food trucks, Fired Up Taco Truck, Hatfield's Goode Grub and Cocky's Bagels, and <br />one sweet truck with East Coast Custard. Smooth Rider asked to return to this year's event, and <br />it was agreed by all to extend them the opportunity to attend if it is agreeable with East Coast <br />Custard. James confirmed that the liquor permit is being submitted in early June and he will be <br />following up with Fathead's once that is sent off to arrange the beer truck and keg amounts. He <br />also sent an email to the Police Department to coordinate officers at the event similar to last year, <br />and they will assist the Commission with this once again. <br />Mayor's Art Show <br />Sue was confirmed as the chairperson for the subcommittee and shared the potential dates for a <br />mid-June meeting to brainstorm new ideas for the 2020 show. Sue provided an overview of past <br />event organization and programming and shared ideas for how to improve the event in the future. <br />Keith noted that the current setup at City Hall is difficult since it is limited hours and requires <br />guests to sign in and be monitored as they view the artwork. He suggested potential venues such <br />as Great Northern Mall or the Frostville Museum to encourage a more accessible gallery space. <br />Sue will send an email after the meeting to confirm the first meeting date. <br />Holiday Decorations <br />Annie provided an overview of the May 9t' subcommittee meeting and presented several <br />concepts for decorations and illumination options along Lorain Road. The overall vision for the <br />area is to decorate the water tower bus with garland and bows and place other themed <br />decorations around the bus to draw attention to the display. Laura is investigating high -impact <br />and low-cost lighting options to add to the visual impact in this area. Keith suggested exploring <br />decorating the area along North Park Drive in addition to Lorain Road. The group agreed on the <br />general concept and encouraged the committee to gather a full list items for purchase this <br />summer.
