Historic District Design Guidelines
The final copy of the guidelines was approved by the committee at the October 7" meeting. Ms.
Rambo -Ackerman asked the commissioners to submit their questions or concerns by November
4th so they can be addressed at the training on November 11th and the document can be approved
by the commission. The consultants will briefly review the document and have a case study to
help commission members see how to apply the document when reviewing a proposal. If there
are no other agenda items, the November meeting will be in the Caucus Room. Mr. Morse found
minor grammatical errors but was impressed by the body of work. Mr. Schumann felt the
consultants did a good job capturing what is special about the district and they were excited
about it from the beginning.
History Tour
The grant application was submitted and is in the second stage of review and the grant awardees
will be announced in February. The next planning meeting for the tour will be scheduled after
the holiday events at Frostville.
Certificates of Appropriateness
A minor change for Nancy Kuntz at 25783 Butternut Ridge Road was approved on August 12,
2019 for a swimming pool in the rear yard.
