A training for the commission will follow the meeting to review
how the guidelines can be implemented when reviewing cases. Mr. Neville thought the
consultants did a good job incorporating committee input in the document. Mr. Schumann
enjoyed working with the consultants and thought that every concern of the committee was
addressed. Mr. Gearhart pointed out a typo on page 19. Further grammatical errors can be
updated after adoption since they are not substantive.
Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to adopt the Butternut Ridge Historic
District Design Guidelines, which was approved 6-0.
Dubelko Research
Ms. Lieber said former member, Jim Dubelko, has been working on research for a Cleveland
History Encyclopedia project.
