Junior Women's Club Event
Vera Brewer reached out to Ms. Lieber about the Junior Women's Club Rediscover North
Olmsted event on Sunday, July 11. The event will be similar to a scavenger hunt with 20 stops
around the city for participants to visit. There are four spots considered historic — the Oxcart
Library, Old Town Hall, First Universalist Unitarian Church and Frostville - that they would like
to have a Landmarks Commission or Olmsted Historical Society member stationed at in case
participants want to learn more about the site. Mr. Neville thought there may be some OHS
members who would be able to talk about Frostville. Ms. Egan -Reeves and Mr. Neville
volunteered to help. Mr. Neville will check the OHS general meeting schedule to make sure it
does not conflict with the event.
Certificates of Aapronriateness
A minor change for a new roof at 27111 Butternut Ridge Road was approved on April 23. It was
determined to be a minor change based on the emergency need of the repairs since the roof was
leaking in multiple places.
Kiwanis Park
Ms. Lieber said the artist hopes to have the solar tree ready for installation by the end of the
month. This is one of his first permanent installations so he is taking extra time to ensure it is
done correctly. Once it is installed, there will be social media and website posts letting the
community know it is finished. The ground sign is in the process of being approved and should
be installed soon.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
David Nevill6, Chair Nicole Rambo -Ackerman, Administrative
Assistant
Date:
