Suzie Patton <br />Excused: I'ric Allain <br />Stall: Assistant Tow Director Bryan O Mulley, Economic & Community Development Director <br />Max Upton Building Coordinator Katie SeeleN, Administrative Assistant Kristine Jones <br />Mr. Ration moved, seconded by Ms. Patton, to approve the Building & Zoning Board of <br />Appeals minutes of April 18, 2022, motion passed 4-1). <br />RESIDEN" FIAL APPEALS AND REQUESTS <br />22-21491; Kosta and Abigail Aslanidis; 4069 Clague Rd. <br />Representative Kosta and Abigail Aslanidis, owners <br />Proposal consists of a second dwelling. Propertc is zoned C -One I amih Residence. <br />I he following variance is requested: <br />A variance for a second dwelling on a parcel coned One Family Residence code does not allow. <br />Section 113501(A)(]). <br />The applicant is requesting to modilj the existing storage building on their property for his <br />grandmother. the existing structure is 22 feet from the neighbor's property line and then would <br />like to add additional square feet to the rear of their property. Ihere is currently an electrical sub - <br />panel in storage building. therefore they would not have to run anx additional electrical to the <br />storage building. <br />Ms. Seeley staled that it was her understanding that the applicant "a, 'loin" to convert the <br />existin" storage building and not add additional square feet to the structure. She explained that <br />the information to add additional square feel was not on the original application and the building <br />write-up only reflects the conversion of the storage building. <br />Director I plun. explained that at the previous meeting a few of the neighbors come up to hint <br />w ith questions regarding the proposal. Atter. it was explained to them they did not have an issue <br />with the request. <br />Mr. O Malley stated that this should be an area variance and not a use variance. <br />Ms. Patton asked the applicant if there was another way to solve the predicament. other than <br />requesting for the variance She suggested an addition onto the house.' The applicant responded <br />and stated that the grandmother will be coming in September and there would riot he enough <br />time, also the expense of construction. <br />
