Section 1135.02(B)(2)(c). <br />Ms. Bija, explained that with recent changes with the owner's family they are in need of a larger <br />garage for storage. Also she mentioned a setback stated the setback variance would <br />accommodate the city by allowing them a clearer access. <br />Mr. Gareau, asked for clarification with the city property. Mr. Papotto asked the applicant it <br />there is a drainage easement? Ms. Bija said yes. Mr. 6areau asked if the drainage easement on <br />the parcel is on the rear of the lot'? Ms. Bija stated that the easement runs along the existing <br />driveway. there was a discussion on whether this was a recorded easement or Swale casement. <br />The applicant explained that they will not he constructing in the area of the easement. <br />Ms. Patton stated her concern with the request is the significance of the additional square footage <br />that would be needed. compared to what would be typically allowed and how that might impact <br />the overall aesthetics of the neighborhood. <br />Ms. Bija, asked if she could comment, Mr. Papotto stated no, not at this point since we are in <br />discussion. <br />Mr. Mackey asked it this would be used as commercial use. Ms. Bija, said no, <br />Mr. Papotto, agreed with Ms. Patton on the size of the garage. Ile explained that the proposed <br />garage would be directly behind two other neighboring garages and believes the space going <br />back to the cul-de-sac would not affect any of those homes. Ms. Patton agreed that how the <br />proposed garage is set up would not be un-slightly for the neighborhood however, her concern is <br />the size of the garage.
