4 <br />BUILDING & ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 5, 2022 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Papotto called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. <br />Present: Bob Papotto, Ralph Mackey, Dan Rahm, Suzie Patton, Michael Kovach <br />Staff. Director Upton, Administrative Assistant Kristine Jones, Law Director Michael Gareau, Jr., City <br />Planner Nahid Parsipour, Building Coordinator Katie Seeley, Special Assistant to the Mayor, Chuck <br />Massarolo <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Rahm moved, seconded by Mr. Kovach to approve the Building & Zoning Board of Appeals <br />minutes of November 7, 2022. <br />RESIDENTIAL APPEALS AND REQUESTS <br />22-23404; Daniel Johnson/Mary Johnson 5545 Whitehaven Avenue <br />Proposal of a new shed. Property is zoned C -One Family Residence. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A variance for a second storage building on a residential lot; code permits one, applicant shows <br />two, Section 1135.02(C)(2). <br />2. A 34 sq. ft. variance for combined size of storage buildings: code allows 150 sq. ft.; applicant <br />shows 184 sq. ft., Section 1135.02(C)(2). <br />Note: <br />Original shed 10 ft. x 12 ft. (120 sq. ft.) <br />New shed 8 ft. x 8 ft. (64 sq. ft.). <br />Lot is 19,800 sq. ft. <br />Representative: Daniel Johnson 5545 Whitehaven Ave. stated that they do not have a garage and are <br />requesting the variance to store lawn equipment and outdoor furniture. Ms. Patton said she felt that <br />because they do not have a garage this is a reasonable request, all other board members agreed. <br />Mr. Rahm moved, seconded by Ms. Patton, to approve the following variances for 22-23404; Daniel <br />Johnson/Mary Johnson 5545 Whitehaven Avenue: <br />1.
