Mr. Archer state that the current awnings are blue and they wanted to refresh them the color red. He stated <br />they just wanted to get a fresh message to the public that they do offer more than basic groceries. They <br />also intended to upgrade the Marc's sign to LED's. They also took down the pharmacy sign. <br />Mr. Hartkop explained that Amazon is planning on coming into the center and Marc's decided to make a <br />large investment to remodeling the interior of the store in order to keep their market share and stay <br />competitive. <br />Ms. Patton questioned Director Upton about the typical allotted sqft signage for their storefront. She <br />explained that 80sgft did not seem a large request due to the amount of store frontage they currently have <br />Specifically, she was questioning what do they currently have versus what they are asking for.
