Mr. Copley shared the property to the east will be consolidated into one parcel for development, <br />with the variance request being the initial step. The overall project involves demolishing the <br />existing showroom. constructing a new one and enhancing the front of the property with new <br />lighting. landscaping. and fencing. Consolidating the property is crucial for the project, with the <br />variance being the first step in the process. <br />Mr. Pacsuta inquired about if the lot consolidation was supposed to be completed before a variance <br />request, to which Mr. Gareau replied that was not the normal process and that the consolidation <br />goes with the frill development plan. He also inquired about the location of the setback variance <br />request and was shown the plan from the developer and was satisfied xvith the answer. Ms. LaRosa <br />expressed opposition to the variance request. <br />Mr. Kovach moved to approve 23-25380: Halleen Kia: 27932 Lorain Road: seconded by Ms. <br />Patton. <br />Board members expressed that the variance request was nominal and they acknowled�(yed that there <br />was a rebranding requirement from Kia. <br />Motion Passed: 4-0 <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Mackey moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Rahm: seconded by Ms. Patton <br />All in favor. none opposed. <br />Mr. Papotto inquired about the Kava and Planet of the Vapes cases. to which Mr. Gareau replied <br />there wer motions applied for and IZearings scheduled. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />With no further business before the board. the meeting adjourned at 8:26 p.m. <br />Bob Papotto, C air <br />Approved: b 01 2g' <br />Lyn Wilson.
