CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHTTECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - APRIL 22, 1987 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Acting Chairman Britton called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. <br />Present: J. Britton, D. Pattison, and B. Zergott <br />Absent: M. Case. <br />Also Present: B. Oring,Clerk of Commissions <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />D. Pattison moved to approve the minutes of. March 18, 1987, seconded by <br />B. Zergott, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />1) Red Lobster Inns of America, 24001 Lorain Road <br />' Approved with building plans. <br />2) P. J. McIntyre, 5821 Great Northe m Mall <br />Approved with building plans. <br />3) Chi-Chi's Restaurant, 25411 Great Northern Shopping Center. <br />Withdrawn by developer <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />1) Nightfall Night Club, 30850 Lorain Road <br />Landscape plan (Heard by Planning CommiSSion January 27, 1987). <br />Proposal withdrawn by developer until next meeting. <br />V. NEW BUSIPIESS: <br />1) The Lorain Corporation, 25615 Lorain Road (southwest corner of Lorain and <br />Fleharty Roads). <br />Proposal to construct retail building. (Heard by Planning Commission <br />Arpil 14; 1987). <br />Mr. Schill, Mongello and Associates, presented revised site plan showing <br />only one drive on Lorain Road as suggested by the Planning Commission; <br />pole lights on rear property have been eliminated, and building lights <br />will be installed instead. He explained that main floor will contain <br />2 retail units with basement storage area (b.ecause of the grade, basement <br />level is accessible- from the rear parking lot). The metal roof will be <br />a blue-gray, wa11s are to be dryvit in a buff color (R. Wall 1064) and <br />a pinkish rust (R. Wa11 1036) contrast color. Five foot board on board <br />fence will be on rear property line and will screen dumpster (neighbor <br />to the rear had stated previously that he did not want a 6 foot fence, <br />and actually prefered a 3 foot high concrete wall.
