ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 8:15 D.M. <br />Present: M. Betts, B. Gorris, J. Thomas, and T. Morgan <br />R. Bierman arrived at 8:25 p.m. <br />Absent: E. Traczyk <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Consulting City Engineer <br />T. Boyer, Building Commissioner D. Conway, Mayor Petrigac, <br />Councilmen McKay and Bohlman,.and Clerk of Commissions B. Orin.g <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />M. Betts moved to approve the Planning Commission ninutes of Anril 12, 1988 as <br />submitted, seconded by J. Thomas, and unanimously approved: <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Predota Flooring, 29369 Lorain Road <br />-Change of occupancy, review of site plan,'and minor alteration to front <br />of b uilding. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of.Review April 20, 1988.- <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that a landscape plan has been <br />submitted as required by the Architectural Board of Review and Mr. Zergott ' <br />has approved it with some revisions which are marked on the plan. Police <br />Department has no objection to the proposal. The forester had no objection <br />to removing the mulberry tree, but advised that an additional inspection <br />will be needed if any other trees are to be removed. Mr. Predota stated <br />that site plan and roof plan have been r.evised.to conform to the suggestions <br />of the Architectural Board and he has no problem with the changes recom- <br />mended by Mr. Zergott. He stated that he has no color number for the <br />stuccato board, but that it is the natural cream color-that material comes <br />in. He agreed to bring a sample of the material to the BZD Committee <br />meeting. Mr. Conway advised that the apron size would have to be increased <br />to 18 feet in width. B. Gorris moved to approve the Predota Flooring <br />proposal at 29369 Lorain Road incorporating the recommendations of the <br />Architectural Board of Review, including the additional landscaping indi- <br />cated in green on the print that will be designated as "reviewed" this <br />evening; with tlie furtiier notation that the apron which is presently indi- <br />cated as 16 feet will be changed to 18 feet; and that Mr. Predota will <br />take a samvle of the stuccato board finish with him to the BZD Committee, <br />seconded by R. Bierman, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Aquasonic Auto Wash, 28800 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct car wash with convenience/gift store and gas station. <br />Variance granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals April 6, 1988. <br />Continued from the Planning Comni.ssion meeting of April 12, 1988.
