.? ? . <br />^ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED = <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES = MAY 10, 1988 <br /> <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman P4organ called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. <br />Present: M. Betts, R. Bierman, B. Gorris; J. Thomas, E. Traczyk, and <br />T. Morgan <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />D. Conway, Consulting City Engineer T. Boyer and Clerk <br />of Commissions B. Oring. <br />IIe REVIEW AND COP.RECTiON OF MINUTES: <br />B. Gorris moved to approve the minutes of April 26, 1988 as written, <br />seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) P. J. McIntyre`s, 5281 Great Northern Mall <br />Proposal.to install fence for outdoor eating area <br />Mr. McIntyre, owner, explained that the fence is to be constructed <br />arourid a proposed outdoor dining area. Chairman Morgan does not believe <br />that the information provided is sufficient since it does not show how <br />proposal will tie in with the existing mall. Building Commissioner <br />Conway explained that the area wou1d be 42 feet'across the front and. <br />would be 15 feet from the edge of the sidewalk. This would be a little <br />deeper than a similar area for the T.G.I.F. Restaurant, but the sidwalk <br />was wider at this noint. Mr. McIntyre presented pictures of the outside <br />of the restaurant and stated that he thought the owner of the mall had <br />presented-more complete plans. Commission decided to send.proposal on <br />to the Architectural Board with the provision that more complete plans <br />be submitted. M. Betts moved to submit the proposal for the installation <br />of a fence for an outdoor eating area for P. J.. McIntyre's at Great <br />Northern Mall to.the ArcHitectural Board of Review for.their consider- <br />ation with the understanding that the owner will provide detailed <br />sketches or some presentation of information to a much greater extent <br />than what has been submitted tonight, seconded by J. Thomas, and unani- <br />' mously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDiVISIONS: <br />1) Berard Development Compan_y Subdivision Preliminary Plan. <br />The proposal is to subdivide and create eighty-one (81) residential <br />sublots west of Bretton Ridge Subdivision between I-480 and the C.E.I. <br />Easement, and includes the extension of Bretton Ridge Drive, Wellington <br />Drive and Westmirister Drivev Zoning is "A" Residence, Single. <br />Chairman Morgan invited the residents who were present to come forward - <br />and study the proposal.
