' CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />t <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTE S- MARCH 16, 1988 <br />I. ROLL CALLo <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case, D. Pattison, and B. Zergott <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Councilman 0'Grady, Building Commissioner <br />Conway, and Clerk of Commissions B. Oring. <br />II. REVTE?a AND CORRECTTON OF MINUTES; <br />D. Pattison moved to approve the minutes of February 17, 1988 as presented, <br />seconded by B. Zergott, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />Heard with building plans <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No Items. <br />V. NEW EUSINESS: <br />rTrs. Case advised that item number 1 would be heard at the end of the meeting. <br />2) North Olmsted Lumber, 27375 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct storage addition <br />(Heard by the Board of Zoning Apneals March 2, 1988.) <br />Referred by Planning Commission March 8, 1988 <br />Mr. Schi11, architect, presented photographs of the two existing storage <br />buildings explaining that this building will be constructed in between <br />and will match exactly in a stucato board with brown cedar battens. The <br />building will be unheated and unsprinklered. Mr. Pattison stated that <br />if this was not an extension of what is existing he would reject it on the <br />basis that such construction would be unsuitable for its use and for <br />longevity, fortunatelv building is set back from Lorain Road and by en- <br />closing this area, they wi11 be getting rid of an eyesore. D. Pattison <br />moved to anprove the North Olmsted Lumber proposal as shown, seconded <br />by B. Zergott, and unanimously approved. <br />3) Great Northern Shopping Center, Plaza South <br />Proposal to construct small addition and change to elevation. <br />Referred by Planning Commission March 8, 1988. <br />Mr. Carlisle and r2r. Papandreas, representing Biskind Develonment Company, <br />explained that the proposal was to square off a corner of the building <br />which was originally stepped-back to provide some exnosure to some of <br />the units from Country Club Boulevard.
