ROLL CALL: <br />Vice Chairman Kazak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: J. Kazak, J. Konold, B. Schulz <br />Absent: D. Spoerke and R. Burk <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />Ii. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />It was decided to defer the review of the minutes of June 14, 1989 again <br />until the next meeting when alI members are present. <br />J. Konold moved to approve the minutes of July 27, 1989 as presented, seconded <br />by B. Schulz, and unanimously approved. <br />III. COPIMUNICATIONS: <br />No itemse <br />IV. HEARINGS: <br />1) Joseph L. Simmons, Jr., sublot 328 Whitehaven, property located between <br />5685 Whitehaven and 5723 Elmhurste <br />Request permission to construct dwelling on permanent parcel 233-20-18 <br />Whitehaven ("C" District, minimum lot frontage 60 feet). Hearing required <br />by Ord. 3806 ( any house being built on a lot with a 50 foot front width <br />or less requires the approval of the Board of Building Code Appeals). <br />Building Commissioner Conway explained that since Mr. Simmons provided <br />information that the lot was actually over 50.00 foot for the front <br />width, this item has been withdrawn from the agenda. <br />2) riary Hickle, sublot 17, Elm Road property located between 24238 and 24258 Elm Rd. <br />Request permission to construct dwelling on permanent parcel 237-14-17 Elm Rd. <br />("C" District, minimum lot frontage 60 feet). Hearing required by Ord. 2806 <br />(any house being built on a lot with a 50 foot front width or less requires <br />the approval of the Board of Building Code Appeals). <br />Vice Chairman Kazak administered the oath to Mary Hickle and her grandmother, <br />Mrs. Schoppnera No other neighbors were present. Mrs. Hickle stated that <br />they are glaqning to build as soon as possible and were told that they could <br />get a build'ing permit even though the sewer ban is still in effect. Mrs. <br />Hickle stated?that they are building.the house to live in. Building Commis- <br />sioner Conway'stated that there.was no guarantee that the ban would be lifted <br />and if it is built and cannot be connected to the sewers, no occupancy can <br />be issued. The;members,had no problem with the proposal. Mr. Kazak stated <br />that this house would fit into the area and noted that there are no neighbors <br />tresent to ob'ject, J. Kazak moved to grant permission to Mary Hickle, sublot <br />17, Elm Ro,ad'to construct a dwelling on permanent parcel 237-14-17 Elm Road, <br />seconded bq B. Schulz, and unanimously approved.
